05/18/2008 - College PREP - Baltimore, MD Adam is a talented player and although he can pitch with a balanced delivery and a great CB, he is more suited for the infield at this time. As a SS, Adam gets to the ball with range and fields with soft hands. He transfers the ball quickly and has a strong accurate arm. He needs to follow his throw to increase momentum to his target. At the plate, Adam has power to the gaps and bat speed. He gets his bat through the zone with a quiet approach despite dragging his hands a little. All in all, Adam has the athleticism to play at the next level and he should impress a lot of people during his senior year.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
