05/25/2008 - College PREP - Phoenix, AZ Andrew is a two way player on the mound and in the outfield and shows projection at both positions. In the outfield, he shows solid average arm strength and near solid average foot speed. He utilizes his quick, athletic feet in taking proper routes and angles in the outfield. At the plate, Andrew shows best with near above average ability and raw power. He shows a solid load in weight transfer staying balanced throughout his swing and does a nice job of keeping his hands inside the baseball, utilizing all fields. On the mound, he shows a lot of potential with his breaking ball being his best pitch. Fastball flashes a ton of potential from the left side and he does a nice job of working on a strong downhill plane. Faith shows a lot potential at two positions and will catch the eyes of some college coaches over the next year.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
