06/05/2008 - Under Armour Southeast Regional Tournament - 2008 Roumelis ran 6.83 and 6.93 in the 60-yard dash, making it three times he has posted sub-seven 60-yard dash times for us. His outfield angles and footwork were a bit better this time, he showed the ability to cover good ground and has potential to play all three outfield positions - though he fits best in CF and LF. Arm strength is biggest area for improvement defensively. At the plate, he had an aggressive approach. Once again, his move to contact was compact and had some quickness and life. Lack of pre-pitch rhythm stood out more in game at bats than before in a workout setting, really needs to develop a more fluid move back and through. Reaches good positions to load and launch, just needs to work on putting them together into a more rhythmic move to make it easier to get his hands and barrel moving into the hitting zone. Overall, an athletic player with ability to work with and room to improve his skill - giving him some upside.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
