07/28/2008 - College PREP - Council Bluffs (Omaha), IA Anthony is a smaller player who has a chance to improve with added strength. At 2B, Anthony shows solid arm action. He needs to work on staying low and fielding the ball out in front and keeping his feet moving. His throws are accurate, but his fielding ability needs instruction. At the plate, Anthony has some bat speed and he centered a few of the balls really well. He must get his lower half more involved in order to increase balance and power potential. Anthony is still young but he needs to work on both sides of the game to increase his overall ability.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
