06/20/2015 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Cameron is a solid all-around player who made several improvements in his game during his time in Omaha. Foot speed has improved as he now runs his 60 in 7.04. Defensively, he has active footwork and moves well laterally. He maintains good body control, funnels smoothly and play through the ball well. With the bat, Dellinger has a balanced setup with a solid base. He has rhythm in his hands, whips the barrel through a level path and squares it up consistently. The ball jumps off of his bat when centered as he has the ability to spray it to all parts of the field. Cameron has a ton of upside and should find success on the diamond at the next level.

03/22/2015 - College PREP - Greensboro, NC Cameron is a R/R 1B who has a tall/projectable build (6'1"/190). With the bat, this RHH shows an open stance with good balance throughout. Swing path is direct through the zone and utilizes his lower 1/2 well. He connects and drives the ball on a line to all parts of the field. At 1B, Dellinger shows his athleticism as he works around the GB. He presents his glove and fields the ball out in front. Backhand play is smooth as he gathers well. He has quick/active footwork around the bag and can adjust quickly to inaccurate throws. Cameron has a solid skill-set that should translate into the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
