09/13/2015 - Interactive Video Program - La Verne (Los Angeles), CA Cameron is an athletic, young 2-way player (SS/RHP) who graduates in 2020. At SS, he shows active footwork and works fluidly around the GB right to left. He gathers well and has a clean exchange to throw. With the bat, this righty shows a square setup with a solid base. He swings on a level path and extends well through contact. On the mound, Cameron has a 3-pitch mix coming from a low 3/4 arm slot. He keeps his eyes on the target, stays directional toward the plate and repeats well. He works downhill and pounds the zone with strikes. FB ranges from 61-64 mpg while showing slight sink. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with 'sweeping' type action. Overall abilities will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
