07/05/2008 - College PREP - Atlanta, GA Carlos continues to show outstanding foot speed and quickness in the outfield. He takes proper routes and angles in tracking down balls, showing range. He works to get behind the ball and plays through with momentum to target. Arm strength is solid average and shows some carry. He needs to get on a strict long toss program to further aid in development. Finishing throws by standing behind and through the ball with his feet will also aid in carry on throws. At the plate, Saade shows solid average ability through a line drive approach. He does a nice job of keeping hands inside the baseball utilizing all fields. He will get a lot of looks from the college coaches with his athletic abilities in the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
