05/25/2008 - College PREP - Nashville, TN Chase is a 2B/RHP that showed best as a hitter where he showed balance and rhythm in a line drive approach. At 2B, he showed the ability to turn DP's well and shows good intensity. He will need to work to throw from over the top with a better base to throw. On the mound, his best pitches were his off speed where is CB was above avg. with tight spin. He gathered to a good balance point and has an overall solid delivery. A long toss program will help velocity and arm strength.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
