06/30/2014 - College PREP - Troy (Albany), NY Connor is an athletic 2-way player as an OF/LHP. In the OF, he takes a quick first step and hustles into position behind the fly-ball. He maintains fluid body control, gathers well and works in-line toward his target. With the bat, Connor shows a well balanced approach with relaxed actions. He hits the ball where it's pitched with the ability to drive the opposite field. On the mound, he has a 4-pitch mix coming from a 3/4 arm slot and loose arm action. FB tops out at 75 mph he fills up the zone and throws strikes. He repeats his mechanics, remains compact through the swing, and finishes well. A skilled player - Morgan is a couple adjustments from taking his game to the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
