01/11/2008 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America - 2008 Court is a solid catcher displaying well above average ability in his skills. His has above average arm strength showing life and carry on his throws. He does a nice job of getting his body into a good position to throw coming out low to high. His receiving and blocking skills are also well above average. He centers the baseball and utilizes his body well with balls in the dirt. At the plate, Court continues to shine. He has a sound base and utilizes his lower half well creating above average power in his swing. He displays a line drive type approach and consistently finds the barrel. If he need of a stud defensive catcher, Court may be your guy.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
