08/31/2008 - College PREP - Oklahoma City, OK Dagan is a 1B with a strong looking frame that is suited well for the position. He plays hard and shows a lot of hustle through his actions. Feet are heavy and slow and he needs to work on quickness through an agility and foot speed program. Arm strength is average and he needs to get on a strict long toss program to aid in developing more arm strength. Fielding ability is slightly average and he needs to utilize his feet more in coming to get the baseball. He is a solid receiver on throws from across the diamond. At the plate, Webb has slightly average ability with solid average power. He displays balance throughout his swing and makes consistent contact. Hitting grades will improve quickly with instruction and adjustments at the plate. Dagan has abilities with a lot of room to improve.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
