01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Dallas continues to impress on the bump. This 6'4"/170 RHP works to a tall balance point and drives downhill toward the dish. FB jumps out of his hands and gets on hitters, cracking the mitt at 89 mph. He challenges hitters and isn't afraid to come inside. He pounds the zone and gets ahead in the count. Breaking ball has sharp bite and compliments FB well. Bryan has a ton of upside and will pitch at a high level.

10/08/2014 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Dallas is a strong two-way player that projects best on the mound. He pounded the zone with his three pitches, topping out at 87 mph (sitting from 81-84). He mixed his CB with 11/5 shape and sharp action, buckling knees at 64-73 mph. He has some feel for his CH, but needs to continue to work and become more efficient with the pitch. Mechanically he repeats his delivery, works to get ahead and drives with his lower half. Staying composed and comfortable with his tempo, eliminating the rush, will increase control. Defensively, he made plays with a sure glove at the hot-corner and threw with carry across the diamond. Improving foot speed and agility will increase range. Offensively, he hit with good balance and a contact approach. He used the entire field and was consistent to contact when his head was still. All in all - Dallas is a very projectable hurler that will be an impact at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
