06/12/2008 - College PREP - Sanford (Orlando), FL David is a tall pitcher with a bright future. On the mound, David shows a lightning arm with a well above average CB. His delivery is smooth with good use of the lower half. With his FB in the upper 80's, college coaches should be drooling over him in the next year. He has a good feel for his CH but it can improve. At 6'4, David has all the potential in the world and if he can keep up his work ethic, he can go far.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
