In the field, he exhibits smooth and fluid actions at second base, using active footwork to square up ground balls effectively. His glove is firm, and he presents it well out front, while his throws are accurate with good carry as he quickly releases the ball. At the plate, Jackson continues to impress with quick hands and a level swing path, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. His patience and keen eye make him a disciplined hitter. On the mound, his fastball ranges from 67-73 mph, and his breaking ball sits between 58-62 mph with a sharp 10/4 shape. He consistently works ahead of hitters, showing excellent mound presence. As he continues to build arm strength through a long toss program, his pitching stock is set to rise. With significant upside and the potential to become a standout player, Jackson’s future looks bright.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
