05/14/2017 - College PREP - Tampa, FL Jordan is an athletic 2018 prospect from Gaither High School. In the OF, Jordan takes good routes to the ball, he gets into a good throwing position by working getting behind the ball, and has a quick exchange making accurate throws. If he continues to work on following through on his throws, and increase his foot speed, he will be able to cover more ground in the OF. At the plate, Jordan has an athletic stance, attacks the inside part of the ball, and uses his lower half. Jordan needs to continue working on separating his hands, creating rhythm in his hands, and getting his front foot down on time. Keeping his hands back will help prevent him from drifting forward, and allow him to drive the ball to all fields.

01/17/2014 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at the Yankees Training Complex (Ages 12-14) Jordan is a 2018 graduate who plays outfield. Defensively he has solid arm strength, understands the position, and is aggressive to the ball. He can improve by working on his footwork, take better angles to the ball, and continuing to strengthen arm. At the plate Jordan makes good contact, has decent power, and he battles the pitcher. Jordan needs to fix his grip (hands together), keep front side closed off longer, and allow the ball to travel into the hitting zone (use the entire field).

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
