05/25/2008 - College PREP - Nashville, TN Jordan has a strong looking body with a ton of athletic actions. Foot speed is above average and he utilizes his athletic feet around the bag at 1B. Glove action is sure, solid and consistently showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt, saving a lot of throws. Arm strength is average and he would benefit by getting on a strict long toss program. At the plate, Jordan shows solid average ability. He displays good rhythm and balance creating a solid approach. Bat speed is above average, keeping hands inside the ball utilizing all fields. Davis is young with a lot of potential and with his athletic ability could move to LF to become more versatile. He still has time to continue to only get better, only a 2010 graduate.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
