09/14/2008 - College PREP - Parker, CO Jordan is 3B with an athletic looking frame that shows projection as it continues physically mature. Arm strength is solid average displaying life, carry, and accuracy across the diamond. He does need to get on a strict long toss program to aid in further developing more arm strength. He throws well on the run. Foot speed is near average and he does need to work on quickening and utilizing feet more in coming to get the baseball. Glove action is deep due to weight being on heels. As he utilizes his feet more, glove action should be presented down and out in front of his body. At plate, Loudenback has solid average abilities with near above average power. He shows a balanced stance, loads well, and utilizes his lower half well through the swing. He does a nice job of keeping his hands inside the baseball utilizing all fields. Jordan has potential ability and with some work, will be a solid player at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
