06/22/2008 - College PREP - Worcester, MA Kevin is a tall thin pitcher with potential at the next level. Although he also plays the infield with soft hands and the ability to field the ball out in front, he is more suited for the mound at this point. On the mound, Kevin has a downward delivery with rhythm and balance. He uses his legs well and has above average off speed pitches. He can get even better with a long toss program to increase arm strength. His delivery is very sound. He has a shot.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
