08/08/2008 - ACR-E - Maryland - 7 Michael increased his 60-time and H-1B time while at this event. At SS, had smooth approach to ball with ability to field out front. Soft hands and quick exchange lead to accurate throws. Long toss will help develop more velocity and quicker feet will increase range. At the plate, had square stance with good bat speed. Had ability to extend thru ball and hit line drives to all fields. Maintains balance and holds the ground well. Has a consistant swing path and makes it look easy. He will hit at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
