09/04/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Livonia, MI Owen is an athletic SS/RHP. On the mound, this righty displays great tempo. He delivers each pitch with a loose arm as he pounds the zone with strikes. At SS, he takes solid angles as he fields GB's. He turns quick DP feeds and gains ground towards his target. With the stick, Owen takes aggressive hacks through the zone. He shows rhythm in his swing as he drives balls from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
