01/16/2009 - Under Armour Pre-Season All America - 2009 Parker is a strong looking player with potential at the next level. At 1B, Parker demonstrates proper footwork around the bag and a strong arm across the diamond. He has soft hands and can pick it in the dirt. At the plate, Parker has the power needed to play 1B at the next level. He strokes the ball to anywhere on the field with balance and bat speed. He can flat out hit. Once he connects…watch out. Parker should be able to contribute early at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
