08/25/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Long Island, NY Raymond is a C/3B who will graduate in 2026. Works with good direction as he replaces his feet and has a front elbow hinge. Tracks pitches well with firm glove. Has a short arm stroke as he made on-line throws to second base with a best pop time of 2.3 seconds. In the dirt, he showed efficient footwork with ability to make routine plays. Keeps his eyes behind his glove and made consistent throws to all bases. Shows good balance at the plate and keeps his weight between his knees. Has a fast barrel with a short/direct hand path. Hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 82mph during his round of BP. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Raymond having a bright future on the baseball diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
