08/30/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Cooperstown, NY Richard Delmar is a C/1B that recently played in the All-Ripken Games at Cooperstown. At the plate he displayed tons of raw power as he consistently made hard contact. He was able to collect 5 hits on the weekend as well as drawing one walk. Defensively he showed a lot of athleticism as well as a very strong throwing arm. When you add all of those tools together you get a solid ball player that will be on a lot of coach's radars for the foreseeable future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
