09/11/2016 - College PREP - Fresno, CA Antonio is a lean, 2017 LHP prospect. He has a good feel for pitching with an easy, repeatable delivery and good command of all his offerings. He has a loose arm stroke that gives his pitches good life and arm side run on his fastball. He has good balance and stays directional to the plate, allowing his arm to stay in synch with his body. His curveball has the look of an out pitch with sharp 11-5 break in the mid 60's. At the dish, this lefty sprays the ball to all fields with a direct path to the ball and has a good finish to extend through contact and hit the ball with authority. Staying tall throughout his delivery is the final step to becoming a complete pitcher. We look forward to watching Antonio develop in his senior year.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
