07/19/2008 - College PREP - Plymouth Meeting (Philadelphia), PA TJ is a strong imposing player. At 3B, TJ has quick feet and gets to everything. His hands are soft and he is silky smooth when turning the double play. As he fills into his body and his arm strength increases, TJ can do just about anything at 3B. At the plate, TJ has bat speed and he crushes the ball. Everything is centered and has back spin when he hits. He has a level path and as he learns to let the ball travel, he should come into his own at the plate. He can flat out hit.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
