04/27/2014 - College PREP - Plymouth Meeting (Philadelphia), PA Henry showed as a switch hitter for the first time at the event. Currently, he projects best from the right side. He displays rhythm and balance through the swing. Hands are loose and work to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more from both sides. At SS, he works to square balls up and displaying clean hands. Defensive grade will continue to improve as he learns to attack balls more and play through while presenting hands more out front. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program.

01/18/2013 - 2013 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Todd is a solid, athletic, SS who will graduate in 2015. Defensively, Todd has soft hands, quick feet, and he fields in a low / square position. He moves well to the ball, his exchange is quick, and he throws with a loose arm action to his target. Better pre-pitch actions and playing more through the ball will improve defensive numbers. Offensively, Todd has a square set-up, a short stride, and good balance. He makes consistent contact, he has a level swing, and he has pop in his bat when properly centered. A shorter swing and more direct hands to the ball can improve offensive numbers.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
