08/13/2023 - National Showcase - Colorado Springs, CO Tristin is a 2027 2B prospect from Elizabeth, CO. At second, he has good movements pre-pitch and shows off quick feet, with range to the backhand and glove side. He does a good job of getting in a squared fielding position and attacks the baseball. He has a quick exchange and makes accurate throws from a 3/4 slot with a quick release. At the plate, he starts in an open stance and gets a good load. He has a firm frontside with his lower half and works hard to stay centered through contact. He shows off good hip movements and does a good job of finishing strong through contact. He has a line drive approach and is able to spray the ball to all fields. Overall, Tristin is an exciting prospect that we are excited to see continue to develop as he begins his freshman year of high school!

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
